The Senior Program Analyst provides advanced analytical and program management support to ensure the successful execution of complex programs, leading evaluations, managing deliverables, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of medium-sized programs or projects
  • Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to solve diverse and complex program challenges
  • Develop and manage program plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to support decision-making
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret program data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data used in program evaluations and reporting
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for program-related inquiries and issues
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Represent the organization in meetings, forums, and workshops, providing updates and insights on program progress
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to optimize program processes and improve efficiency
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, lessons learned, and innovative solutions
  • Support organizational change initiatives by recommending and implementing process improvements
  • Lead tasks and activities within medium-scope projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering professional growth and development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of program activities
  • Contribute to departmental and organizational planning efforts by providing insights and recommendations
  • Support the development of long-term strategies to achieve program and organizational objectives
  • Participate in the preparation of business cases, proposals, and strategic roadmaps

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in program analysis, project management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong experience with data analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Python for data analysis)
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2)
  • Experience conducting cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, or ROI evaluations
  • Familiarity with federal or state government program management processes
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and their application
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing small projects independently
  • Strong technical writing skills for developing program documentation, proposals, and reports
