[Remote] Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist

Key Autism Services is a healthcare company dedicated to creating meaningful change in the lives of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). They are seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist to lead their social media presence and support various marketing initiatives including content creation and internal communications.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the company social media calendar across all platforms
- Develop and execute social media strategies that increase engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth
- Create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and written posts
- Manage and optimize company presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for audience engagement
- Track performance metrics and provide monthly reporting and insights
- Support lead generation, recruiting, and brand-building initiatives through social media
- Write and publish two blogs per month
- Create social media copy, graphics, videos, and other digital content
- Develop thought leadership content that supports company expertise and credibility
- Support BCBA recruiting campaigns and family education initiatives
- Assist with video production and editing
- Create and manage external newsletters and e-mail communications
- Update website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand messaging
- Publish blogs and manage website content updates
- Add and maintain event information
- Support the creation and optimization of landing pages
- Identify opportunities to improve website content and user experience
- Create and manage the company’s internal newsletter
- Support employee communications and engagement initiatives
- Help promote company programs, events, and organizational updates
- Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns
- Create marketing collateral, including flyers, one-pagers, presentations, and recruitment materials
- Support referral development and talent acquisition marketing initiatives
- Partner with regional teams and departments to fulfill marketing requests
- Track and analyze social media and content marketing KPIs
- Monitor website traffic and engagement generated through social channels
- Prepare monthly reports with recommendations for improvement
- Use data to optimize content, engagement, and lead-generation efforts
- Ensure all content and communications comply with HIPAA requirements
- Maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials
- Follow established review, approval, and compliance processes
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field or 3–5 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or digital marketing
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms for a brand or organization
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Experience with Canva and basic graphic design
- Experience developing and managing content calendars
- Knowledge of social media strategy, audience growth, and engagement best practices
- Experience with video creation and editing
- Healthcare, behavioral health, or healthcare services marketing experience a plus
- Experience supporting recruiting or employer branding initiatives
- Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using social media analytics and reporting tools
