[Remote] Solution Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Simfoni is a procurement SaaS platform that specializes in spend analytics and eSourcing solutions. As a Solution Consultant, you will be responsible for owning discovery, demo, and solution design processes, collaborating closely with sales and consulting teams to address customer pain points and drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Run customer discovery sessions and deliver tailored, outcome-led product demonstrations of Simfoni’s spend analytics, eSourcing, and Strategic Spend Hub solutions to prospects, existing clients, and strategic partners
- Collaborate with the AE, BDR, Customer Success, and partner teams to deeply understand customer requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes
- Support the sales team across RFI / RFP responses, security questionnaires, proof-of-concept (POC) exercises, sandbox builds, and the development of compelling sales collateral that showcases the unique value proposition of Simfoni’s products
- Help customers understand and validate the architectural advantages of Simfoni’s Snowflake-native deployment
- Collaborate with strategic partners to train and enable their teams on Simfoni’s platform
- Work closely with Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure a clean transition from pre-sales to post-sales
- Use Simfoni’s internal AI agents to scale your own output
- Maintain a deep, current understanding of Simfoni’s platform, our product roadmap, and competitive positioning
- Provide structured feedback to Product, Engineering, and GTM Enablement teams on customer requirements, recurring objections, competitive losses, and opportunities for product and demo refinement
Skills
- 8+ years of experience as a Senior Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or in a similar customer-facing technical role in B2B SaaS
- Hands-on familiarity with at least one major source-to-pay suite (Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, Jaggaer, GEP, Zycus) or spend analytics specialist (Sievo, SpendHQ, Simfoni, or comparable) as a user, seller, or implementer
- Solid understanding of source-to-pay processes — spend analytics, sourcing, contracts, P2P, supplier management, and tail-spend management
- Comfort with data and modern data architecture exposure to Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or comparable cloud data platforms strongly preferred
- Demonstrated AI-native working style: regular, productive use of LLM tooling (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate research, RFP responses, demo preparation, and customer-facing collateral
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and commercial concepts clearly to procurement, finance, IT, and C-suite audiences
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet during live customer interactions, including objection handling and competitive positioning
- Demonstrated track record building impactful sales collateral, demo environments, and POC artifacts
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (AEs, BDRs, Marketing, Product, Customer Success) and to build strong relationships with customers and partners
- Willingness to travel as needed (typically 20–30%) to support customer meetings, industry events, and partner engagements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related)
