Position Details and Schedule Information
- Start Date: September 30, 2024
- Work Location: Fully remote from approved states
- Training Period: Three weeks of comprehensive training (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time, Monday through Friday)
- Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Available Shifts: Between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM Mountain Time
- Weekend Availability: Required weekend shift rotation
- Compensation: Starting base pay of $15.00 per hour plus bonus potential of up to $6.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities and What Your Day Looks Like
As a Remote Chat Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the digital voice that connects customers with the vision care solutions they need. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling Live Chat Conversations: Manage 2-3 simultaneous incoming chats using our LiveEngage (LivePerson) platform, delivering prompt, professional, and personalized service to each customer.
- Consultative Selling: Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend enhancements that add genuine value to their contact lens purchases, helping them discover products and options they may not have considered.
- Virtual Team Collaboration: Proactively communicate with your manager and fellow team members through one-on-one meetings, team huddles, and group chats to ensure collective success in our remote work environment.
- Delivering Exceptional Service: Provide top-notch customer support in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where every interaction matters and every customer deserves your full attention.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve customer concerns in real-time, using your judgment and empowerment to create positive outcomes without unnecessary delays or escalations.
- Performance Excellence: Maintain high performance metrics across revenue per chat, quality assurance, availability, and dependability standards.

Essential Qualifications and What We Are Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in retail, eCommerce, or call center environments
- Excellent typing skills with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute
- Strong technical proficiency and comfort navigating multiple software platforms simultaneously
- A reliable internet connection with speeds of at least 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- A private, dedicated workspace free from interruptions and distractions that ensures confidentiality
- A positive, driven, and solution-oriented mindset
- Consistent punctuality and commitment to working your full scheduled shifts
