Position Summary

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist & Help Desk Support Associate at arenaflex, you will play a dual role that combines meticulous data management with responsive customer service. You will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining information across multiple internal systems, while simultaneously serving as a first point of contact for customer inquiries reaching our Help Desk. Your ability to balance speed with precision, and empathy with efficiency, will directly impact customer satisfaction and the integrity of our organizational data.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management and Information Accuracy

  • Input, update, and maintain accurate data across multiple internal platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and ticketing databases used by arenaflex.
  • Verify the integrity of entered data through routine quality checks, cross-referencing, and audit support tasks.
  • Compile, organize, and digitize records to support operational reporting and business analytics.
  • Assist in the generation of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports that inform team performance and business decisions at arenaflex.
  • Identify and escalate data inconsistencies, missing information, or unusual patterns to the appropriate supervisor or department lead.

Help Desk Customer Support

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries received via email, live chat, telephone, and internal ticketing systems.
  • Provide first-level technical assistance and troubleshooting support for common software, account access, and platform navigation issues.
  • Document every customer interaction thoroughly within the Help Desk ticketing system to ensure a complete record of communications and resolutions.
  • Follow up with customers after issue resolution to confirm satisfaction, gather feedback, and close out support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with senior Help Desk technicians and other departments at arenaflex to escalate complex issues that require advanced troubleshooting.

Administrative and Operational Support

  • Support the Help Desk team with general administrative tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, and internal communications.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal knowledge base articles, FAQs, and customer self-service resources.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one performance reviews conducted remotely.
  • Maintain compliance with all arenaflex data privacy, security, and confidentiality policies at all times.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of one year of professional experience as a data entry clerk, administrative assistant, customer service representative, or similar role.
  • Typing Proficiency: Excellent typing skills with a demonstrated accuracy rate of 95% or higher; minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in text, numbers, and records.
  • Technical Literacy: Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with Google Workspace is a strong plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, courteously, and professionally.
  • Self-Management: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet productivity targets in a remote work environment.
  • Home Office Setup: A reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet and dedicated workspace, and a personal computer capable of running required software.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a remote or hybrid position, particularly within a Help Desk or technical support environment.
  • Familiarity with Help Desk software such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, Jira Service Management, or similar ticketing platforms.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of remote support tools, VPNs, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable platforms.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcomed and may open additional opportunities within arenaflex.
