[Remote] Senior AI Engineer (GenAI + Data Platform – AWS)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cyber Space Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale Generative AI and Data Platform solutions on AWS. The role involves developing LLM-powered applications, managing vector search solutions, and implementing AI workflows while collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale Generative AI and Data Platform solutions on AWS
- Develop LLM-powered applications using RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering techniques
- Build and manage vector search solutions using OpenSearch and graph databases using Neptune
- Develop agentic AI workflows using LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar frameworks
- Create scalable data ingestion, transformation, and embedding pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark
- Build secure and reusable backend services and APIs to expose AI capabilities
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize AI systems for performance, cost, accuracy, and reliability
- Establish data governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver production-grade AI solutions
Skills
- Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services including OpenSearch, Neptune, DynamoDB, and ElastiCache (Redis)
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and agentic AI frameworks
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and data engineering pipelines
- Knowledge of API development, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and MLOps practices
- Experience with LLM observability and model evaluation tools
- Knowledge of AI governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and agent-based architectures
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field
