System Administrator (Cyber Infrastructure)

reputed company is seeking an reputed company Cyber Infrastructure System Administrator to work remotely providing infrastructure support for the work performed under this contract for NIH NIAID Enabling and Advancing Technologies (reputed company). reputed company other tasks are intended to facilitate the implementation and operation of Network and Cybersecurity. This engagement supports reputed company and future technologies including evaluating, planning for, and implementing new technologies in the NIAID and NIH environment in response to changing business strategies, policy, and regulatory changes. The Cyber Infrastructure System Administrator is responsible for supervising and managing the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. - Plan and monitor the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization, and reputed company systems reputed company analysis and planning. - Plan and monitor assistance to users in accessing and using business systems. Commensurate experience and education. - Collect, store, and analyze data relevant to monitored applications to reputed company and report accurate root causal analysis of reputed company reputed company issues and to support trend analysis and forecasting. - Ensure effective change management of reputed company OCICB-supported software applications. Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, including support teams and ensuring quality of service operations. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information reputed company or reputed company field. - Active Public Trust or higher reputed company clearance. - Strong supervisory skills in managing system configuration and operation. - In-depth knowledge of optimizing system operations and resource utilization. - Proficiency in performing systems reputed company analysis and planning. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to assist users in accessing business systems. - Extensive experience working with mainframe, mini, and client/server-based systems. - Experience monitoring systems for unanticipated issues and reporting on systems performance metrics. - Experience applying troubleshooting techniques across various server, application, and network technologies. - Experience with reputed company standards and best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms. - Reside reputed company the Washington DC Metro area. - Travel reputed company the Washington DC Metro Area, and CONUS as needed.
