Loss Mitigation Underwriter - 100% Remote

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States, Texas (USA) A large Mortgage company is hiring fully remote Loss Mitigation Underwriter to join the team - looking for candidates who have any kind of Mortgage Underwriting, and is also familiar with mortgage documents! Pay: $27-30/hr Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm EST Start Date: October 7th 2024 More preferential towards candidates who live in either PST or MST time-zone Would consider those from TX. Equipment is provided Description The Underwriter, Loss Mitigation I is responsible for the underwriting of loss mitigation options for all workout types on all loan types. Will need to maintain and acquire any licensing requirements. Essential Job Functions • Must be in compliance of established timelines and quality decisions for each file assigned. • Preferred to have underwriting experience. • Must be familiar with mortgage documents. • Must be familiar with financial documents. • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers. • Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Other Related Duties • Performs other related duties as assigned. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
