Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio and video recordings to produce accurate and timely transcripts
- Verify elements of the transcript to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Proofread transcripts of legal proceedings to ensure high-quality output
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with our team and clients
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5 years of experience as a legal transcriptionist
- Minimum touch-typing speed of 60 WPM with high accuracy
- Proficient in the English language, with knowledge of grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, spelling, and vocabulary
- Knowledge of medical, legal, and technical terminology
- Home office setup with high-speed internet, USB foot pedal, headphones, and Windows 10 operating system
