If you hold an active Property & Casualty insurance license and have a passion for consultative sales, we want to hear from you.
Position Overview
The Remote Licensed Customer Service Representative at arenaflex serves as the critical first point of contact for prospective and current policyholders seeking guidance on pet health insurance options. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your insurance expertise, consultative selling skills, and empathetic communication style to educate customers, recommend tailored insurance solutions, and guide them confidently through the enrollment process. You will operate as a licensed advisor and brand ambassador, embodying the values and standards that have made arenaflex a trusted name in pet insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Insurance Expertise and Product Mastery: Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of arenaflex pet health insurance plans, including coverage tiers, policy features, exclusions, pricing structures, and enrollment requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert capable of confidently addressing nuanced customer inquiries and positioning the most appropriate plan for each unique situation.
- Technology and Systems Proficiency: Learn, navigate, and optimize arenaflex's internal platforms as well as our third-party insurance partner technologies. Use these tools to deliver a seamless, consistent, and high-quality customer experience from initial contact through policy activation.
- Inbound and Outbound Engagement: Answer inbound calls, chats, and digital inquiries from prospective customers while also placing strategic outbound follow-ups to individuals who have previously expressed interest in arenaflex pet insurance policies. Manage a balanced workflow that prioritizes both lead conversion and customer satisfaction.
- Consultative Needs Analysis: Employ a structured consultative framework to actively probe, identify, and understand each customer's specific needs, budget considerations, pet health history, and risk tolerance. Use this information to recommend the most suitable insurance plan and coverage options.
- Objection Handling and Conversion: Address customer questions, hesitations, and objections with confidence, empathy, and professionalism. Transform concerns into opportunities by demonstrating the value, reliability, and long-term benefits of arenaflex insurance plans.
- Enrollment and Documentation: Accurately enroll pets in selected policies, ensuring all required information is collected, verified, and properly documented. Maintain meticulous attention to detail to prevent errors and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Performance Against Targets: Consistently meet or exceed established enrollment targets, conversion rates, and quality metrics. Take ownership of personal performance and continuously seek ways to improve outcomes through skill development and process refinement.
- Problem Solving and Follow-Up: Apply creativity and critical thinking to research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues. Follow up diligently to ensure complete resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Cultural Stewardship: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to empathy, active listening, patience, and kindness in every interaction with customers and team members. Embrace a growth mindset by actively receiving and providing constructive feedback.
Essential Qualifications
- Licensing Requirement: Must possess and maintain an active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance license in your state of residence. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service role with a conversion or sales component, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Proven Performance: Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding conversion targets, sales goals, or similar performance metrics.
- Consultative Selling Skills: Strong ability to identify customer needs, present tailored solutions, and guide decision-making through consultative conversation rather than high-pressure tactics.
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric orientation. Ability to actively listen, interpret customer concerns, and respond with clarity and warmth.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using basic computer applications, CRM systems, and data entry tools. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively in a remote work environment.
- Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality or attention to detail. Flexibility to adjust schedules and work overtime as business needs dictate.
Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with insurance underwriting principles and policy administration.
- Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, reflecting the diverse customer base arenaflex serves.
- Previous experience with consultative sales frameworks and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar tools.
